Hi, I was born and raised in Palm Springs California. When I was a kid I raced go-karts and eventually moved to the highly competitive SKUSA(SuperKartsUSA) tour to finish the 2002 season as the highest ranking privateer in 13th. It was after this I decided to go to ArtCenter to pursue a degree in transportation design. At my time in college I explored as many forms of art and design as possible with an acute fascination with motorcycles. I graduated in 2009 showing my thesis project that predicts the return of grad prix motorcycle racing to dense urban areas through the use of small electric motorcycles designed to have little environmental impact. After graduation I traveled through Europe only to find a severely damaged motorcycle economy and no jobs. I then returned to the states with an offer to work for Polaris in Minnesota MN. There I worked on various vehicles with two, three, four wheels and tracks. Seeking a little more creative freedom I opened the doors to my own multi-disciplinary studio ∴ aka CultRiders. Here I explored three areas of design: transportation, stasis, and couture. Clients ranged from hoteliers to makeup companies to drift teams. During this time I also took short hiatus to work for Honda as a clay modeler in Torrance Ca. where I learned the extremely delicate and precise method for shaping car interiors and exteriors. I also translated 3-d scans of the clay into class-A digital models. In 2014 I was approached by Honda Advanced Design department to design an autonomous vehicle for the year 2040. This time I worked as an outside vendor providing a broader range of services and deliverables including a 1/4 model and native html presentation. From 2015 to 2017 I worked almost exclusively on Dead or Alive, a boutique beer and wine bar located in Palm Springs Ca. A focus was placed on the customer experience over aesthetics by simulating a digital sunset every night in the bar. In between DoA I worked on a few projects with BMW Designworks in Thousand Oaks Ca. as a digital modeler and polygon modeler. ...
